WISEMAN REACHES GAME 150

Congratulations to James Wiseman who played game 150 for the club last weekend!
Wisey has made his mark as one of the clubs most dedicated and hardworking players over the years! He has the ability to take the game in the palm of his hand like few others, so much so that the wicket closest to Bowen St is known as the Wiseman Wicket!
It was wonderful to have Adit Pawha and past player and Jim's best mate Alec Smith down on Thursday to speak on his time at the club and relive some treasured memories!
Jim we thank you for all you've given to us on and off the field and we look forward to watching you plunder many more runs in the years to come!

A reminder that our annual pre Christmas gathering will be held at the rear beer garden of the Auburn Hotel, 85 Auburn Road, Hawthorn East, on SUNDAY 21st DECEMBER, from 3.30pm onwards!

Welcome to Jack's Q&A Corner brought to you by Mimi's! This week I sat down with one of the founding members of the new 'Rat Pack', ready to represent Vic Metro in the upcoming National Under 17 carnival in January and fresh off his second 1st XI game, it's Jakey Pietz!
1. Whats something we don't know about your brother Daniel?
Jakey: Don’t wanna do him too dirty but he took a poo in the backyard behind the grass bin when we were younger, he used to make footy tiktoks and stuff thinking he’s full famous too!
Haha we can all say we've thought we were tiktok famous right........can't we? But oh boy a poo in the backyard, maybe he thought it would help the grass grow or something, cow manure can't be too different to human manure. And don't worry about doing him too dirty cause sounds like he's dirty enough already!
2. What is on your wishlist for Santa?
Jakey: To be honest I'm very lucky to say I got all I want at the moment so not much couldn’t go wrong with some more cricket gear or maybe some nice colorful golf balls
Ahhh yes some nice colourful golf balls to make sure everyone can see when you hit the 16th fairway instead of the 15th! FORE! But good to hear you aren't like the little entitled girl from Willy Wonka screaming "Daddy, I want a pony!", it's nice to be content with what you have!
3. Tell us the inspiration behind the double earring look and how do you manage this on gameday?
Jakey: Nothing really just always wanted them not sure why but I’m thinking of getting a nose piercing don’t wanna look like silly though so probably not.
Nothing wrong with a bit of bling! There's a lot of that energy in the Aus setup at the moment with Weatherald, Webster and Zampa! I say if you wanna give it a shot, go for it! And if you don't like it then you'll become closer to God........cause you're more holey than before hehe
4. Do you have any special talents outside of cricket eg. Musical instrument?
Jakey: Nah I’m pretty boring outside of cricket so nothing really wish I could say I am good at golf but I’m not so.
Damn, I was potentially getting the vibe you could sing like Izak Rankine, a bit of a wonder kid! But golf is well in line with the current cricket landscape, all you need now is to enjoy a coffee or two and you'll have a baggy green before you know it!
5. If I come over for dinner what are you cooking for me?
Jakey: Maybe some tacos made them in food tech once they came out alright so I’ll go with them.
Good old food tech pulling through! I'll take tacos but you'll be competing with Grot for the best tacos at the club! Maybe like the ol del paso ads we'll have both!
Thanks to Jakey for playing! Find out who's next in the final newsletter before Christmas, next week!
And if you have any nominations or questions you want asked to someone, feel free to send us an email at admin@camberwellmagpies.com.au
