FORREST DEBUTS IN STYLE

ree

Congratulations to Patrick Forrest who made his 1st XI debut last week!

Foz has worked his way through the grades proving his class at every level and thoroughly deserving this opportunity!

It was lovely to have the Forrest family in attendance and his cap presented by Dave Francis who spoke proudly of Foz's growth from grade 5 to adulthood!

Foz scored 54 on debut and helped lead the way to a victory over Kingston! Well done Foz!

Welcome to Jack's Q&A Corner brought to you by Chargrill Charlies! After the raging success of his Physioworks Health Group Pathways Player Profile (say that 10 times), I thought who better than to hear more from than our blueberry loving, prospective accountant (cause we don't have enough of them), Fin McGrotty!

1. Everyone loved learning that blueberries are your favourite food, what is it about them that are so good?

Fin: I just like the crunch of them, especially fresh ones that have been in the fridge.

Crunch, flavour and juiciness, you're a real blueberry connoisseur! It sounds as though you like them fresh compared to frozen! I swing both ways in the fresh v frozen debate, especially in some overnight oats, frozen berries and mango hits! Excellent choice Grot!

2. Will we ever see the return of the mullet or are we sticking to the clean cut for now?

Fin: I’m not sure if I will ever grow the mullet back but there is a chance, I’ve been thinking of growing my hair out so maybe it will turn into a mullet.

I remember that mullet vividly and its funny to think how far you've come! Although it was very much in its hay day during COVID so you are excused.

3. You also said you wanted to be an accountant, does this mean you're coming for Bobs role as treasurer? And when are you purchasing a pair of RM Williams?

Fin: Yes I am coming for Bob’s role, that’s the only reason I want to be an accountant and maybe you will see me in some RM Williams.

Look out Lord Edmund, you've started a fire (Billy Joel style) by encouraging the concrete jungle lifestyle! You might have to change your 4th grade curriculum. If he wasn't getting a gig in the corporate world just from that smile and charm, he's definitely taking your job with a pair of RMs on his feet!

4. Looking ahead to the Christmas school holidays, do you have any plans for the break?

Fin: To start the holidays I’m going down to Torquay for a few nights, do a bit of fishing and go to the beach. That’s all I currently have planned though.

Beach and fishing, that's giving me major late 00s Aus energies, Haydos, Watto, Johnson, Symonds, beach, sun, weights, fish! Out with the coffee and golf culture, bring back rig based selection and fishing!

5. If come over for dinner what are you cooking for me?

Fin: I don’t cook very often but when I do it’s usually tacos, so I would cook you some chicken or beef tacos.

Oooo yum, I'm so glad we didn't get another dinner from mum! I love tacos (especially on a Tuesday)! You really can't go wrong, get some good seasoning on the meat, a nice mayo or sauce and chop up some veg and you're good to go! The real test is actually eating the taco without it cracking in half and it becoming a crunchy salad lol!

Thanks to Fin for playing! Find out who will feature next in the Round 6 newsletter!

And if you have any nominations or questions you want asked to someone, feel free to send us an email at admin@camberwellmagpies.com.au
