A Happy New Year to all players, coaches, committee, members and commercial partners as we head into a year of hopefully lesser problems and successful, happy times coming our way.
I have however some sad news to report in the passing this week of Gordon McQueen, one of our early curators during the formative years of the CMCC.
I well remember walking up and down the wicket and chatting with Gordon as he prepared the track for the next weekend.
“Gordo” is the uncle of our Principal Partner Angus McQueen and the brother of Life Member Don.
We pass on our sincere sympathy to the McQueen family in their loss.
