The Camberwell Magpies Cricket Club (CMCC) is delighted to announce the McQueen Financial Group as the Club’s new Principal and Naming Rights Partner for the next three seasons.
The McQueen Financial Group is a boutique financial advice firm that has been advising professional people and Australian families on growing and protecting their wealth for over 20 years.
McQueen Group Chairman Angus McQueen and his team provide advice and coaching in all areas of personal and business finance. This includes financial modelling, accounting, superannuation and insurance as well as managing mortgages and personal loans.
With over 30 staff, the McQueen Group is passionate about their business and look forward to meeting and servicing members of the Camberwell Magpies.
Speaking on the announcement, CMCC President Peter Warner said the Club was proud to align itself with the McQueen Group in this brand new partnership.
“On behalf of the Camberwell Magpies family, we extend a warm welcome to Angus and his team at McQueen Group,” Warner said.
“While this new partnership may be in its infancy, the McQueen name has been entrenched at the Camberwell Sports Ground since 1959. Club Life Member Don McQueen is the father of Angus, and together with Shuro Shome (former Bendigo Bank Canterbury Manager), they are keen to engage with our members and become part of our Club.
“Angus is keen that he and his team become part of the CMCC fabric, so we encourage our players, members and parents to make themselves known to the McQueen representatives and help make this sponsorship work for both parties.”
As well as a base sponsorship amount each season, the Club will receive an amount for every piece of business introduced. The McQueen Financial Group logo will also feature on the front of the Club’s One Day and Victorian Super Slam apparel for the next three seasons.
