2020/21 Player Subs now due

Player subs are now due for the season 2020/21. We have produced a list of FAQs below for you all to read through which will hopefully give you all the information you need, but if you have any extra questions or queries, please get in touch with CMCC Treasurer James O'Connell (joconnell5@kpmg.com.au) or Ben Rowles (benrowles@hotmail.com) as your first point of call to discuss.

When are subs due?

Final payment of subs is due by next Wednesday November 26 for insurance purposes. This means you have one week from today to get your subs paid.

How much are subs this year?

Senior player (incl. $100 volunteer levy) - $710

Full-time student (incl. $100 volunteer levy) - $660

Under 18 Senior Player (incl. $100 volunteer levy) - $580

How and where do I pay my subs?

Can I pay my subs off in instalments this year?

No. Play Cricket has removed the functionality for instalment payments this season. Therefore due to insurance purposes, payment must be made up front by next Wednesday November 26 to ensure you can play Round 1.

I am not in a financial position to pay my subs by next Wednesday. What do I do then?

The CMCC Committee is mindful of the effect COVID-19 has had on our community and the subsequent financial challenges that may be presented to some members of our playing group. The CMCC Committee is committed to supporting any of our players who may be in financial distress, and if you are experiencing financial hardship, you are invited to contact either Ben Rowles (benrowles@hotmail.com) or CMCC Treasurer James O'Connell (joconnell5@kpmg.com.au) BEFORE next Wednesday to discuss your circumstances. All discussions regarding player hardship and alternative arrangements will be confidential.

What is the Volunteer Levy?

The Volunteer Levy provides a financial incentive to members to become more involved in the running of the Club, and its associated activities. The intention is that the financial contribution outlaid by those that do not wish to contribute to the off field running of the Club will cover the costs of employing individuals paid to complete off field tasks.

Members who accumulate 100 volunteer points (75 for Under 18s) over the course of the season will have their volunteer levy refunded at the end of season.

The total cost of the Levy for season 2020-2021 will be $100.00, this will be in addition to player subscriptions. Essentially, if you accumulate 100 Volunteer Levy points, you get $100 off your subs this year.

Volunteer levies will be refunded by EFT at the point an individual has accumulated the required 100 points to the member’s nominated bank account. In order to qualify for reimbursement, members must satisfy the requirement of 100 points of volunteer activities (75 for U18). If a member partially completes their volunteer requirements, they will not receive a partial refund.

For more information on the Volunteer Levy and how to accumulate points to take $100 off your subs this year, please consult the attached Volunteer Levy Policy.

Once I've paid my subs, what else do I have to do?

All players will need to download 'TeamApp' here.

Cricket Victoria is going to use this method to notify everyone of any special events, such as washouts and heat precautions, etc. for season 2020/21. Once you have downloaded the app, simply search for and join 'Camberwell Magpies Cricket Club' and 'Victorian Premier Cricket'.
