Pathways
Camberwell Magpies has a format that supports individuals of all ages and capabilities along their cricketing journey. We have a pathway starting with our Junior Program feeding players as they grow into the Seniors Program.
The Club uniquely offers a pathway starting with the Junior Blasters program, through Master Blasters, Juniors and into the Seniors where we proudly compete as a Premier League Club. Many of the club’s players have graduated from our own Juniors program. This progression was strengthened in 2018/19 with the introduction of a Junior Development program, which is a pathway program into the Premier League taking in elite junior cricketers from our region, predominately between the ages of 13-16. This exemplifies the Club’s efforts to provide a pathway from the backyard to the Baggy Green.
As a pathway into the Juniors program, the Club also offers the Junior Blasters and Master Blasters program (programs supported by Cricket Australia). These programs are run by senior players from the Club and are supported by a dedicated group of parent volunteers. Last year over 100 boys and girls participated.
