The MILO in2CRICKET program is Australian cricket’s entry level development program. Designed for kids between 5 and 10 years of age, the program focus is on maximum participation to ensure that all participants get a chance to learn all the skills of cricket.
The Have a Go section of the program is primarily for children aged between 5 and 7 years of age. The program focuses on introducing the basics of cricket, such as catching, hitting, throwing, jumping and running. Through the development of these basic motor skills, kids are learning about cricket in a fun, healthy and friendly environment.
The Have a Game section of the program is designed for children aged between 7 and 11 years of age. Taking the skills learnt in the Have a Go section of the program, participants receive a wooden bat and continue to develop their cricketing skills in the same healthy, friendly environment that they would have experienced previously. The Have a Game program is a good way to continue to prepare children for junior club cricket.
