Although our results on the field have been reasonably satisfactory over recent years, we have struggled for off field support, both voluntarily and financially.
Therefore, we have created a new program for player volunteers who will receive a subscription benefit for assisting with certain tasks around the Club. We believe this will take some pressure off our various Sub Committees who will be the engine room of our administration.
We are also embarking on an invigorated drive for new financial members, with revised levels and added benefits.
With a new Committee and bubbling enthusiasm for the new season, the Club will greatly appreciate you joining with us on any level and be part of the rise in overall performance, on and off the field.
As a result of COVID-19, we have decided not to increase player subscriptions this year and also to limit the number of new apparel items all players need to purchase. Instead, we will endeavour to cover these items through increased sponsorship and membership to ease the burden on our players in this difficult time.
We're pleased to announce the details for our three-tier membership option range for 2020/21. We encourage all life members, past players, friends and family members of the Camberwell Magpies to join us in our quest to become the best Premier cricket club in Victoria. You can do so by purchasing a CMCC membership via our new online store, bank transfer or credit card, or by providing a tax deductible financial contribution to the CMCC Special Purpose Fund set up in conjunction with the Australian Sports Foundation. More details on how you can become involved with each of these initiatives can be found in this booklet.
You may be aware that we are absolutely delighted to welcome the McQueen Group as our Principal and Naming Rights Partner for a period of three years and look forward to a mutually rewarding relationship with them during the term. We are now speaking with other potential partners to join us as part of the Camberwell Magpies family.
I hope you will join with us to “raise the bar” and attend some matches at CSG where we will provide lunch, a fully stocked bar and a chance to catch up with old friends.
